How It All Began
White Diamonds Academy was founded in 2010 by a group of visionary educators who believed that Nigerian children deserved access to the finest quality of education — education that matched and surpassed what was available in the best schools in the world.
We chose the name "White Diamonds" deliberately. A diamond is formed under immense pressure — it starts as raw carbon and becomes the world's most precious gemstone through time, heat, and refinement. This is exactly what we do for our students. We take the raw, brilliant potential in every child and, through rigorous education, caring mentorship, and high expectations, help them become polished, brilliant diamonds.
Over 14 years, we have grown from a small school with a big dream into one of Nigeria's most respected educational institutions, with over 500 graduates making their mark across every field.

Mrs. Adaeze Williams
Principal
M.Ed. (University of London), PGCE, B.Sc. Education
With over 20 years in education across the UK and Nigeria, Mrs. Williams founded WDA in 2010 with the vision of creating an institution that would set the standard for elite education in Nigeria. Her leadership has driven WDA to national recognition.
Mr. Chidi Okonkwo
Vice Principal (Academics)
M.Sc. Mathematics, PGCE (Cambridge), B.Sc. Physics
A Cambridge-trained educator with 15 years of experience, Mr. Okonkwo oversees the entire academic programme at WDA. Under his guidance, WDA has produced Nigeria's highest JAMB scorers for three consecutive years.
Dr. Funke Adeyemi
Head of Academics
Ph.D. Curriculum Studies, M.Ed., B.Ed.
Dr. Adeyemi brings her doctoral research in curriculum development to WDA's day-to-day academic life. She is responsible for the integration of world-class and Nigerian curricula and ensures every student achieves their academic targets.
